AHA - BLS Skills Session (HeartCode)

Notes: *Entry Instructions (Curb or Public lot parking):

1. Walk up to the front door
2. Use the call box on right side of door
3. Go to 'directory'
4. Call 'Adrian Hamilton' to get buzzed in
5. Elevator straight ahead on your left (Go to the 2nd floor)
6. Exit elevator, turn left, continue until you see business center on your left

NOTE: This is the in-person skills session only. To attend, you must first complete the AHA’s HeartCode BLS Online course. You can purchase the online course here: AHA HeartCode BLS

(Students without proof of online completion will be asked to reschedule. No refunds will be provided)

Course Overview:

This session completes your BLS certification through the American Heart Association’s blended learning program. You’ll demonstrate hands-on CPR, AED use, and other life-saving techniques under the guidance of a certified instructor. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a 2-year BLS eCard from AHA.

Who Should Take This Course?

  • Students or professionals who have completed the HeartCode BLS Online course

  • Healthcare workers needing a flexible certification option

  • Employees required to show proof of hands-on skills for job compliance

Requirements:

  • Proof of HeartCode BLS Online Completion Certificate (must be emailed to admin@redheartcpr.com or sherry@redheartcpr.com before attending the class)

  • Valid photo ID

  • Access to the BLS Provider Manual (recommended)

Session Duration:

Approximately 30–60 minutes
